last year around christmas, i was missing my friend and drew a comic on the train about it, and then i never coloured it. well, on friday night, i coloured it. so here it is:
i still like it a lot. and well, one day might be this year. in a way. cause my friend is moving into my apartment in summer, so that i don't have to sublet it to some stranger whom i don't trust with all my posessions still inside it, while i'm away for my internship. this is awesome for the having someone taking care of the flat reason, but also because it's like we're living together now. which has been kind of a dream/thing i'd like to try of mine for years now. my friend and i living one room apart for like half a year -- waow

the new comic is a mini folding zine i made on a whim last tuesday when i had some downtime while riso-printing my uni comic. i wanted to try out making a multi-coloured thing while going straight scan to print. so i ended up with three pages of graphite, one for each colour, and i printed in teal, fluo pink and black, which turned out to be an awesome colour combo (and inspired the colouring for the previous comic).
The Shepherd has been on my mind again lately. i've been writing and thinking about his story a little, so this is also a zine about him. i like how it turned out, especially on the orange paper (i made different versions with white, blue and orange paper), though that circle on the cover is a bit annoying -- something must've been on the scanner glass. here's your reminder to always clean the scanner glass first.

ok i wrote all that on saturday night and then didn't wanna upload bad photos of the zine, so i had to wait for today to do a proper scan at uni.
i spent all day there today. printing, cutting, folding and stapling various things for the Comic Salon Erlangen this week, that me and some other ppl from my uni will attend as a field trip. after my experience at CIB last month, i know this will be an exhausting five days, but at least we managed to book an airbnb, as opposed to the public school gym organised by the festival as an accomodation for all us attending students (i would maybe rather not shower at all than shower at a school gym shower. no, not maybe. definitely.)
anyway, i'm happy i won't be alone this time. it will be fine. i hope everyone buys our shit.
ok, that's the post for today. i'm very tired. i'll go play some paralives.
