today is make a terrible comic day. so i made a terrible comic. behold:

| it's bad. the comic and the heat. |
that's right. i have submitted my last assignment for the semester and i am free until. well, next march due to the internship. and it's a very good feeling, i love not having any academic responsiblities. the only real uni event happening now is our comic readings tomorrow, which i feel somewhat nervous but mostly okay about. nervous not about the reading itself but rather the presenting of the contents of it. it's sooo intimate and i feel embarassed being vulnerable like that. but it will be fine. everyone there has already read it!!! everyone knows that i love my friend and we have a fucked up and unique thing going on!!! it's fine.
ok well, what else is going on? let me try to think with this gooey brain. uhhh right. tomodachi life. when i tried the demo i decided this game was gonna be my end of semester reward. and now that it is the end of the semester, i have bought it. and it's soo much fun i love my little guys on my little virtual island. the beautiful blending of universes that will happen. awesome.
dan and phil are going on live-podcast tour and they are coming to a city near me. tickets are 35 euros. of fucking course i will go. i am taking everyone who comes to the show's hands. let us be cringe together, let us be fourteen again for one night.
it has been very hot, as everyone in europe will tell you and my fan has been running nonstop and fortunately i largely have no outside responsibilities atm so i have been doing ok. i would still like it to be at least 10 degrees colder. i am killing the sun and urging the air to start moving. beautiful breeze caress me please.
i am helping with a move on sunday. it will be horrible (due to the 34 degrees celsius) but that's the price you pay (and pay readily) for helping your friend. i am manifesting that it will be fun at least, and i am looking forward to seeing my friend. plus, i'm getting a little shelf for under my bathroom sink and some books out of it, which is awesome.
i've started reading How to Stop Time by Matt Haig, who also wrote what is possibly one of my favourite books, The Humans. and it's really good so far, i really like it. there is something about how Haig writes and what he writes about that is so capturing. it's not thrilling in any way, what i've noticed between The Humans and HTST is that his stories often have this very mundane sheen, on the surface, they talk of some guy who's just living life and it should be boring. but it really isn't, and i love a story that's about appreciating the beauty of the normal human life. just a not-quite-human straight man in england, his dog, and his morally grey boss who doesn't want him to fall in love. awesome.
ok i think that's all for today. idk if i will still do a post about erlangen. it was kind of whatever. it was good, it was so much fun (apart from when i got overstimulated around day 3) and i sold a bunch of stuff and i did a new thing where i drew animal portraits (like the characters in Infinite Search) for con-attendees against donations/tips which was awesome and well recieved and i liked when people had very specific requests (like a specific type of carp, or a collie wearing a tailcoat). overall it was better and less exhausting than CIB. i even bought a few things. did nawt go to any of the events surrounding it, lowkey dgaf. or maybe i just felt overwhelmed by and had a freeze-reaction to the amount of events and not quite knowing whether i'd actually like any of it. idk. whatever. weather was awesome. i miss my dead wife 18 degrees partially cloudy......
ok that's it now for real. try not to spontaneously combust. take your 14-year-old self by the hand and tell them that it will get better. and that one day, they will buy tickets to the we-are-gay-collaboratively-live-podcast of the youtubers about whom everyone wonders whether they are collaboratively gay. handheart
